SQL Prompt 3 provides intelligent code completion for Microsoft SQL Server editors.  Using any of the Microsoft Studio products for any time and you will begin to see the benefits of Microsoft's Intellisense feature. Making it easier to produce and faster to complete a code statement correctly the first time is a major step forward in code righting. SQL Prompt 3 offers this same type of statement-completion In SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Query Analyzer when you press CTRL+SPACEBAR or when you type "." after a table/view/alias name.

Let’s face it, we all have been given a task at one time or another to write code against the database that we are not familiar with the schema and it's going to happen again.  So having a tool that will prompt you, for instance, with the table names when creating a Join Statement and the field names can be an invaluable time saver on a project.  In the previous release many of the complaints listed were that the popups were obtrusive to fluid typing. In SQL Prompt 3 one of the new features is that the time for the popup window to appear is configurable by the user. This means that if you are familiar with a database schema you can lengthen the pause time for the popup to appear so it will only prompt you if you cannot remember an object name.
